Thanksgiving Turkeys

I made Thanksgiving turkeys with Jaxon and Joslyn and some neighbor kids. They had lots of fun and loved eating their marshmallow and chocolate turkey's.

We had a BUSY Thanksgiving weekend! Thanksgiving on Thursday and a mini Christmas on Sunday. (Jaden is leaving on his mission on the 17th, missing Christmas.) Two huge dinners! So yummy!!! Jordan got married to Abby on Thursday Dec. 4th a week after. Needless to say my mother-in-law is going crazy! It's an exciting time in the Bryner Family life! Well my kids are looking forward to "real" Christmas and have their lists ready. Joslyn really wants a Princess scooter and Jaxon wants lots of things! So maybe I'll be better and update sooner for Christmas!

Got 'em

We are officially true rednecks! Josh shot a deer this weekend. Yee haw! I felt really bad because he was sick all weekend with a fever and chills, and then he shot one on Sat. and felt a lot better after that. It was quite exciting and Jaxon thought it was the coolest thing in the world! He wanted to take the antlers to show and tell at preschool. Well, they weren't completely dry so maybe next week..... So on Tue. it got all cut up and packaged and into the freezer . Excellent! So if anyone has any good recipes let me know. So that was the excitement for the Bryner Family! Well and on the blog yeah I know it's kind of ghetto Sorry Josh is supposed help me figure out a few things but hasn't yet so bare with me for a little while. I do want to make it better for those of you out there reading this

Jaxon's Birthday

Jaxon's birthday was in September, he turned 4. Can't believe it. Life is flying! He got a big bike and was thrilled. He's fallen off a few times and is not so thrilled anymore but that's ok. We had a fun party with our family and he thought his tractor cake was cool! Maybe next year we'll have a friends party? I don't know he asked to have his party at a "different" place this year. So the family parties aren't so cool anymore I guess, I have been trying to hold off as long as I could.

He also started preschool this year which has been fun for him and a well needed break for me yay! He has been learning a lot of fun social skills (that he was in need of )and doing crafts, that he loves to put on the refrigerator.

Catching Up

Ok, so I'm not that great at keeping this thing up. Sorry. I try. Well two weekends ago we went to Moab! Our whole family loves it there (especially Jaxon), we started going there about three or four years ago and got Josh's whole family involved. We have a BroncoII, Jay, Jordan and Jaden all have "baby" Broncos. We are a Ford family if you can't tell. Josh and I own a F-150, a Mustang (03, 10th anniversary, that info is for anyone who knows or cares about mustangs! He-He!) and the bronco. Josh drives the bronco and the mustang, I think I've driven them a total of 5 times and I get to drive the F-150 which is gigantic but fits my needs! It can carry my double stroller and groceries at the same time woo hoo! I kind of have to throw the kids in their seats, Jaxon sometimes reminds me my grip is too hard but..... back to Moab.

So basically we take the Bronco on trails all day! The first day we were there the girls decided to stay at the condo and go shopping because the trail was hard and long.Jaxon went and loved every minute of it. Grandpa rode with Josh and Jaxon (he didn't want to take his on the this trail) and Jaden drove by himself. Grandma, Joslyn and I walked around town shopping and went to lunch. We had a fun day and Joslyn is an awesome girls girl!! The next few days we all went on the trails and had a blast with some friends we met up with. Jadens truck broke (of course) I don't know it was some box that lost some bolts or something. Well no one in town had the right size so it got all jimmyrigged up and off we went for the last trail and in the middle of it Jaxon started to get sick and it was decided that the kids and I went with Grandma and Grandpa in their truck to head back home and Josh and Jaden would continue on. So we got back to town and went to the little store there and got a thermometer and some Motrin. And then we were off to Salt Lake! It was a very long exhausting day. Josh and Jaden should have gotten done with the trail a few hours after we left but we couldn't get a hold of them for the longest time and we were all starting to worry, finally we got them and found out that Jaden's truck broke again and was stuck at the end of the trail by this time it was like 9:30 and they decided to stay another night. But they were ok and that was the most important part!

The trip on a whole was great and sad at the same time because Jaden is leaving on his mission to Chicago!!! in December. He's Josh's Bronco buddy the only other one who has the passion as much as Josh. So it was kind of sad for it to end. We can only look forward to 2 years from now I guess. Oh and Jaxon was fine we had a bout of sickness going through the house Joslyn had the nastiest nose I have ever seen in my life and I got strep. We finally got antibiotics and got cleared right up. Thank goodness for good medication.

Oh and Jordan and Abby got engaged. Their wedding is going to be Dec.4 and then Jaden is leaving on his mission Dec. 16. It's going to be such a busy holiday season for the Bryners this year but extremely exciting as well. Such a time of change for everyone. I guess this is the end of this post Josh wants to go to bed so I'll finish later!

Lagoon Day

We went to Lagoon on Thursday!! It was so much fun! Jaxon could almost ride everything with an adult. Well, not the giant rollercoasters. He had so much fun. Joslyn, on the other hand, had fun but wouldn't take a nap so she was somewhat clingy. She would ride some of the rides but would cry or whine I guess and sit there wide-eyed and white-knuckled. Then she would like it and want to go again.... sometimes. All in all it was a really good day.
In this picture we were on the train. (Jaxon's favorite thing in the whole world) but for some reason he didn't like the noise it made and wouldn't take his hands from his ears. So annoying. He claimed it was a scary sound but I think he was doing it to aggravate everyone.
We were there for like 10 hours and the kids were going on rides till the very end! Can't wait to go next year, maybe Josh will be able to go.

Josh and I went to his Brighton 10 year reunion last Saturday! What fun, neither of us can believe we've been out of school for that long and that so much has happened since graduation. Life happens so fast and only gets faster as we get older.
